Overview and Introduction
Q: What specific challenges or gaps did your team face before receiving the training?
A: Our previous training was not tailored to our industry (electric vehicle leases) or business model and was taken straight off the shelf making it very heavy and challenging for staff to complete.
Q: What goals did you want to achieve by implementing this training program?
A: We partnered with the BVRLA in order to build out training content that was:
• Customisable and user friendly.
• From a trusted and known brand.
• Could be housed in-house to make it easier for staff to access.
Utilising our own in-house subject matter experts (data and compliance) we were able to bespoke the training to ensure it met the legal and regulatory requirements whilst also being fit-for-our-business and importantly, engaging.
Our success measures were:
1. Greater engagement in training - it is not a tick box exercise.
2. Improved knowledge and confidence in teams.
Whilst it is still early days post launch, we are seeing improvements in these areas and are confident this will continue.
Q: How was the training delivered, and what aspects of the program stood out most to your team?
A: We worked closely with the BVRLA on customising the compliance e-learning content to our business and found that no ask was too big or too small.
The project was easy to manage, delivered on time (and in some cases ahead of time with Charlotte exceeding expectations and deadlines) and with minimal fuss - we could not have asked for more in terms of partnership and communication.
We’d absolutely recommend working with the BVRLA on e-learning, and on taking advantage of the ability to customise content to your own business needs.
