Supporting members through industry change

A ruling from the Court of Appeal on three motor finance cases (25/10/2024) found in favour of the consumer and raised fundamental questions about the future of financing. The broad nature of the ruling affects a wide range of sectors and services, extending beyond automotive. Currently there are more questions than answers, creating very high levels of uncertainty and major disruption.

The BVRLA has been working tirelessly to get members the answers and clarification they need. Legal firm Norton Rose Fulbright has been appointed by the BVRLA to fully digest the terms of the ruling and understand the potential impacts on BVRLA members.
