Wish you were charging here! As charging infrastructure is installed at an ever increasing pace, it's vital to ensure drivers can charge their electric vehicles in the most convenient and logical locations.
Destination charging is a great solution for many drivers, as it sees chargers available at the end point of a journey, where a vehicle is already dwelling for a longer period of time, for example hotels and tourist destinations.
The BVRLA is working in partnership with Autotrader, Charge UK, EVA England, UK Hospitality, UK Inbound and Zapmap to run an ambitious, creative, and positive campaign to promote the need for destination charging.

Over the summer of 2025 we took our campaign car, nicknamed 'Stevie', all over the UK to promote the importance of destination charging!
Zoos. National Trust properties. Theme Parks. Stevie had a busy summer finding examples of best practice.
In September 2025, we took the campaign to MPs at a Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons on World EV Day.
